I grew up in the small town of Bastrop, Louisiana. I knew from a young age that it was the Lord's plan for me to work with children, so after high school I attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Math Education. I began my teaching career at Bastrop High School. In May 2012, I married Curtis and Natchitoches became my home! Curtis was already a member at Westside, so it very quickly became my church home as well.
I taught math at Natchitoches Central High School until 2014, when the Lord called me to my most important job role--being a stay-at-home mama! Curtis and I now have 2 children, Owen (10) and Levi (8). They are funny and smart and we thank the Lord for them!!
In the fall of 2018, I was given the opportunity to serve as Children's Director. The past few years have been a blessing in so many ways. I am forever thankful to have this opportunity to serve and work with the families at Westside.
In my spare time, I love to clean and organize, play board games, travel with my husband, and most of all be a wife and mother to my favorite guys!!
My grace is sufficient for you.
My power is made perfect in weakness.
